I gravitate to spaces that pair tailored neutrals with bold patterns. Indeed, I have a love for Marimekko that borders on obsession. Speaking of needing medical treatment, is there a rehab for wallpaper addiction? I should probably look into that… But at the end of the day my style can be summed up as sophisticated romance – which might explain why the city of lights is my favorite place in the world!
Meet Jessica
I am most at home in spaces that exude a casual elegance, filled with pieces and details that are collected from a variety of styles and periods. You really can’t go wrong with anything at Anthropologie – no really trust me you can’t go wrong I own every item in the store. While Kiera fancies herself a wallpaper connoisseur, I love fonts. Yes, you read right, fonts a.k.a. typology–I’m a monograph maniac and closeted graphic designer. Though I love the district, I’m a Florida girl at heart. Give me the beach, the warm sun, and a big dose of bold tropical colors and I am h-a-p-p-y!
Our Story
We met at the University of Florida–GO GATORS–where we went to graduate school and studied interior design. Four years of design school can really make a girl go crazy – luckily we found one another early on and our friendship was probably the only way we kept our sanity, although come to think of it maybe we left some of that there.
You’re probably asking yourself how we got from Florida to this fair district. Well Washington really felt like the right place at the right time. As young professionals ourselves we wanted to create a firm that captured the fresh mentality of this ever changing city. And at the root of it all we felt that we could offer Washington a truly distinct design perspective, helping its residents see beyond traditional interiors and realize a more personalized approach to design.
Oh, and when we’re not designing, you can find us relaxing by lakes in Switzerland!
