We are here for you in whatever capacity you want. If you simply want ideas on paint colors, done. If you want a fully designed dining room down to the flatware and china, done. It is not a gimmick when we say that we will work with you, regardless of the size of your space or your budget. In fact, in many ways, what makes us different from other designers is what we don’t do.
We don’t shop exclusively from “To The Trade” sources. You will not find us hanging out in the DC Design Center. We are more than willing to shop there if there’s a specific piece you want that only they offer, but it is by no means the place we gravitate to. We often recommend products from IKEA and Target—because there is no shame in going to those stores.
We don’t sell products. Instead, we pick items that you yourself can purchase. In doing so, your costs are dramatically slashed. If we are offered a designer discount, then we will pass the savings on to you. We do not make commissions from sales and will never pressure you to buy something for your home that you don’t love!
We don’t promote one style over another. Our personal aesthetic is irrelevant. You live in your home. Our best compliment would be for someone to never suspect that you hired a designer in the first place—they should think that you effortlessly created a beautiful home reflective of your personality and lifestyle.

We’re simply amazing, duh! No, but in all seriousness, our services are billed by the hour, allowing us to take on any project. If you’re ready to get started, contact us to set up your free in-home consultation.
“Wait, did you say free?!”
Yes. Absolutely. Why not, shouldn’t it be free? You shouldn’t have to pay for a consultation before committing to a designer. If you’re interested in hiring us as your designer, we want to meet you and see your space in person. During this meeting we can get to know one another , discuss design goals, personal style, and maybe have a few cocktails (oh did we forget to mention it’s only free if there are cocktails involved). We firmly believe that finding a designer is really like dating – both parties involved should feel comfortable before committing to a relationship.
